The plants here are so much better quality than you'll find at the box store. They have several of my bucket list houseplants. Raved about in my plant groups on FB. Rightfully so. In other news, they currently have massive rhododendrons for $69.

Really nice people with a lot of knowledge and good prices. I wanted to get a garden going for my family bc it's something I've always wanted but also just in case the food supply got interrupted. Well...here are some pictures from the seeds and a couple of plants bought from this nursery. 1 of 3 potato plants grown from potato seeds, strawberry from a purchased start, and a few tomato seedlings grown from seed.

While they might not have the selection of the big gardening stores, those don't have the same charm that Jenkins do, nor do they make you feel the same happiness walking into it. jensens is a small local garden store filled to the brim with beauty and knowledgeable and friendly staff, and gorgeousness. I'd rather spend a little more and be able to shop here for what I need, just so I can go and wander through the flowers and fresh herbs.

Jensen’s a bit far from home; but, the drive is worth it since they have a vast inventory of healthy plants, especially flowers. I wasn’t sure what to get my mom for her b’day, and since she loves gardening I figured I’d give Jensen’s a try instead of going to one of the big box stores; it turned out being a great idea since she loved it and picked out some awesome plants. The staff was really nice and knowledgeable, prices are reasonable, and I like how the shopping environment doesn’t seem overstuffed like the larger retailers can feel. Having a new car, I had been worried that I would already be getting it dirty; so at checkout I was surprised that they placed all the plants in cardboard trays to keep them from falling or sliding in the car. Definitely plan on visiting Jensen’s for future gardening needs!!

Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful! This is a local gem I love to visit. They have many indoor and outdoor plants, including annuals, perennials, herbs, veggies, fruits, evergreens, succulents, and more! Also a good selection of pots, soils, and garden care. Visit in summer for local honey and fall for Palisade peaches! ❤️🌱
